Professional Learning Opportunities at The Scots College

As we aim to inspire boys in The Quest for Excellence, so too, do we want to set our own sights higher every day. We want to lead by example, embodying a spirit of adventure, curiosity, creativity and personal growth.
 
Scots doesn’t just exist for itself. It exists for a purpose. The visionary forefathers who opened this College 125 years ago saw their work within a ‘big story’. Today we sum this up as Our Faith and Tradition, which inspire truth, honour, loyalty and commitment.
 
And we want to fulfil our vocation together. We aim to practice Leadership Through Teams, in a spirit of service, compassion, humour and community.​

In pursuing our College values, a range of professional learning opportunities are available to staff, focusing on development in three core areas:  Pedagogy, Research and Leadership. These pathways are designed to maximise the existing strengths of individual staff, while enabling them to contribute in distinct ways to the knowledge and practice of the College community more broadly.​
