This project also aims to build the College’s reputation as a leader in faith and learning and serve other educators by providing exceptional resources designed specifically for use in contemporary Australian classrooms.
Specifically, this entails:
- In 2015, a pilot program developing video and print resources answering the ‘Big Questions’ students ask of the Christian faith, embedded in a term-length Christian Studies teaching module. This program will see this content developed and implemented with classes and groups at Scots, and introduced to other partner schools for testing and feedback
- In 2016-17, the creation of platforms for the expansion and distribution of these resources for purchase by other schools and churches. This may include:
- A website hosting content and downloadable resources
- The development of multiple curriculum packages with digital content, assessments and lesson plans
- Faith and learning professional development sessions
- A high-quality video course featuring Australian students in conversation about their doubts and questions about Christian faith
